We loved our cabin. It exceded our expectations and I'm so glad we chose Wild Asaph. We wanted to go somewhere special for our One Year Anniversary and your cabin near Wellsboro was the perfect place. We will definitely be coming back in the near future. Thanks Harold and Jane for making our first anniversary so special! This rental is very clean, secluded in the mountains but yet
accessible to paved roads. The cabin sleeps many comfortable.
Clean bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, beautiful view. Lots of trails
to walk.Large table for eating and playing games, nice fire ring
to have campfires, toast marshmellows/ roast hot dogs. Owners
are very helpful, generous, kind people. I would come here every
month if I was able to. This cabin was well cared for, clean when we arrived and looked like what we were expecting. The cabin's main floor has an open dining room, kitchen and living room. The dining room has a large table where we often linger after we eat to talk and play games. I love that there is a firepit where you can either make some meals or just linger over, especially in the evening. Lots of hiking is available either on the roads or through the woods. (You might see a variety of wildlife or even stumble across the beaver dam!) There are several ice cream places nearby that you can stop at if you're riding a bike or snowmobile or just make a special trip to enjoy the yummy cones. And while the cabin is out in the boonies, Wellsboro is close enough to visit. I would be glad to recommend this cabin to anyone. Thanks, Lois H. Mount Joy, PA This is not my first time staying at Wild Asaph cabin. The cabin is spacious, clean, comfortable and supplied with many "extras" to enjoy. Sitting around the fire at the outside fire pit is relaxing and has brought good conversation and great memories. Good hiking in the area as well. You are not too far from the quaint and unique town of Wellsoro and the beautiful views of the PA Grand Canyon. Love it here! |
